Know which answers turn into customers.

Quiz analytics built around paths: where visitors stop, how each decision splits your traffic and which journey ends in a lead.

Quick answer

What should you measure in a quiz funnel?

The most useful quiz funnel metrics are reach and drop-off by step (where people stop), the split at each decision point (how visitors divide across answers and paths), and conversion by path (which journey ends in a lead). InteractiveFunnel reports all three for each published funnel, with filters for date range, funnel version and device.

  • Sessions, completed journeys and link exits, counted separately
  • Reach and drop-off for every step, with the steps where most sessions stopped
  • Decision points: the share of visitors each answer sends to each path
  • Conversion by path, with qualified leads when you mark qualifying paths

How it works

Set it up in three steps.

  1. Publish and share

Analytics start with the first session on the published funnel. Leave step tracking on in the funnel settings.

  2. Find the stopping points

“Where visitors stop” lists the steps where the most sessions went inactive, so you know what to fix first.

  3. Compare paths and versions

Filter by version to compare a change with the previous one, and by device to see phones and desktops separately.

Drop-off you can act on

A session counts as stopped at a step after 30 minutes of inactivity on that step. Skipped steps and normal path changes are not counted as drop-off, so a branch does not look like abandonment.

Decision points

For every step where a path can start, analytics show how many visitors reached the decision and where they went: each path and everyone else. This is the fastest way to see whether a branch is worth maintaining.

Honest numbers

Small samples are labeled when a view has fewer than 20 sessions, and the report explains how each number is counted. Counts that overlap are marked so they are not added together.

Examples

Where teams use it.

Fix a leaky step

A budget question that loses a third of visitors moves later in the funnel.

Prune a branch

A path that only 3% of visitors enter, with no better conversion, becomes a variable instead.

Validate a new version

Compare the new version with the old one for the same dates and device.

Report on quality

Share qualified sessions, not just leads, with your sales team.

Good to know

  • Analytics describe what happened in your funnel; they do not replace an A/B testing tool. InteractiveFunnel does not split traffic between variants.
  • For ad attribution, add your pixel or analytics tag in the funnel’s custom code settings.

Questions, answered.

Can I see where people drop off?
Yes. Each step shows how many sessions reached it and how many stopped there, and the report highlights the steps where most sessions stopped.
Can I compare versions of my funnel?
Yes. Filter analytics by published version, as well as by date range and device.
Can I use Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel?
Yes. Add their tags in the funnel’s custom code settings. InteractiveFunnel analytics keep working alongside them.
Which plan includes analytics?
Analytics are included on every plan. Enterprise adds advanced analytics; see the pricing page for the current plan details.
